Lately, in Corinna...

April 18, 2001

This view looking east from the bell tower of the Stewart Library Building shows much of the cleanup area in Corinna. Main Street, with its new curve, runs along the left. The new bridge structure is to the right of the street, near the crane. Presently the river runs under the old bridge and along just behind the American flag in the picture. The riverbed and the roadway will be moved into alignment with the new bridge later this year.

Click here to see a view of Main Street before the mill demolition. Here is an aerial view of the same area before the Odd Fellows Hall was moved.
