Looking northeast from the bell tower, here is the view behind Jeanne and David's house on Pleasant Street. The black tarp covers the soil stockpile, about 18,000 cubic yards of contaminated soil to be cleaned this summer. Just beyond it, the East Branch of the Sebasticook River backed up behind the Middle Dam.

A recent article in The Bangor Daily News reports that Internet access is crucial to economic development. In the article, Senate President Pro Tem Rick Bennett, R-Norway said, “It is clear to me that access to the Internet has become a fundamental need for businesses..."

<Ken: standing on a soap box> In my opinion, as we look toward the future with efforts to encourage economic development in this area, the availability and quality of Internet access in Corinna should be among the prominent topics in the discussion.
