This is a picture of the north side of Main Street looking East. The concrete wall starting on the left used to be the front of the mill. You might recognize the barrier around the opening to the river. It's along the sidewalk, just below the red truck in the distance. For most of us, the only time we looked down to the river at that barrier was while dropping cedar bows during the Memorial Day Parade. This year will be the last Memorial Day celebrated on this street. By next year, it will be gone.
