This is the riverbed just downstream from where the railroad trestle used to be (Typical Maine Directions- "Turn left where the Lester Farm used to be."). It was rebuilt last summer after the area was excavated. It looks pretty nice, even though there's not much water flowing these days. However, the micro-channel down the middle provides habitat for aquatic life during low water flow.
