Lately, in Corinna...

December 26, 2000

The Stewart Library Building stands in the mid-winter sun. For over one hundred years this building has looked down on Corinna village. At one time, commercial offices occupied some of the rooms. Now it houses the town office, the town library and Levi Stewart's private library, a collection of books assembled by Mr. Stewart before the turn of the century. The second floor is an auditorium with a large stage. Many plays, shows, dances, basketball games, graduations and town meetings have been held here.
