Lately, in Corinna...

Looking north from the Odd Fellows Hall we can see the area of town where Main Street and the mill used to be. The hill side on the left is more apparent, leading down into the valley and Corundel Lake just visible on the right. The large black area in the center background is the soil containment area where all the contaminated soil is stockpiled for processing next year.

From early in the 1800's, lumber, grist and textile mills have been located here along with stores and other businesses. Before too long the cleanup will be done. This land will be ready for redevelopment. What new activities will take place here? What new businesses will grow? How will this land along the stream be used?
