Lately, in Corinna...

This wonderful picture was sent to me by Marie Turner Birckhead. (She actually sent it to Ruth Dunham. Ruth brought it over recently for scanning.) I'm sure many of you recognize it. Just as I am sure many of you do not. This is a picture of Roy Pearson's Roller Rink, taken perhaps in the early 1940s. The building sat at the corner of the Dexter Road and the Exeter Road, where Lister Petroleum is now located. The sign on the wall in the upper right says, "NO FAST SKATING". I bet some of you have some fast skating stories you could tell us in the Cattail Forum.
