This area used to be the mill pond, between the Upper Dam (visible in the distance) and the Middle Dam near the mill. With the removal of the Middle Dam, it has been restored to a free running stream. Spring will bring the first run-off season on this newly reconstructed wetland area. As you can see from the Weather Chair below, we got about 5 inches of new snow last night. |
