Some time ago, in Corinna...

The picture above shows the store front building on the corner of the Stetson Road and the Exeter Road in Corinna, the building we knew as Brown's or Pearson's Store. My guess is that this picture was taken about 100 years ago. In the late 1800's Flavel Shaw owned and operated the general store in this location. 

To the right is a picture of Flavel Shaw Sr. and his wife Julia. The Shaws are buried in the Corinna Village Cemetery.

These pictures were published in Corinna 175th Anniversary 1991 by the Town of Corinna. They are from the Robert and Arlene Pearson collection.
