Lately, in Corinna...

There aren't many landmarks left in the village area of Corinna. Right now the most important one is hidden by four trees. The Stewart Library Building has been called one of the most elegant historic civic buildings in central Maine. However, for much of the year no one would know. People driving through town hardly know it is there because the trees hide it from view. We can't afford to hide our best assets. These trees need to come down.

Follow this link for an historical look at trees on the lawn of this building.
