Lately, in Corinna...

From the bell tower of the Stewart Library Building, this is the view looking north toward Corundel Lake. In the foreground are the trees on the Saint Albans Road (Pleasant Street). Behind them we can see the contaminated soil stock pile. It covers about a acre and holds the 75,000 cubic yards of soil removed from the cleanup site. The excavation equipment visible near the left side of the pile will load the soil into trucks for transport to the decontamination facility not far out of site to the right.
