Lately, in Corinna...

Let's take a little look back to see how far we've come.
Below is a copy of the Lately in Corinna.. page published here 3 years ago. At that point the mill was demolished but the old Main Street was still intact and the river bed was in the old location. This was just before the excavation of contaminated soil began in the river bed area. Only a short time later the railroad trestle was removed. Last week crews worked to remove some of  the trees along the river from the Odd Fellows Hall to the railroad trestle.

 
 
 
This picture was taken from the trestle. Trees have always lined the river bank and shaded the river, at least since I can remember.
