Down behind the hill, where the new section of the mill used to be, the EPA has erected this temporary building. It has a metal frame, bolted to the concrete slab. The roof and side walls are made of a thick, tough material stretched and fastened to the frame. The enclosure will eventually house the condensers and filtering equipment used to capture the contamination removed from heated soil. The initial soil decontamination work will begin next week.
