Lately, in Corinna...

June 10, 2003

The main hall, upstairs in the Corinna Union Academy Museum, is seen here during the open house last weekend. The building has been completely cleaned and restored from the fire. There is new paint throughout and new floors where needed. Note the curved ceiling beams. They give this room an open and spacious feeling.

Email Virus Alert!

There is a nasty email virus spreading rapidly on the Internet called Bugbear.B. This worm is spread in email attachments with filenames that end in one of these three extensions. (.exe, .pif, or .scr). My advice is do not open any email attachments that have names ending with these extensions.

If you use Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express for email, you are particularly vulnerable. The worm is automatically activated when viewed with Outlook's Preview Pane. For more information visit these antivirus sites, Panda Software at www.pandasoftware.com or Symantec at www.symantec.com. The Panda Software site has a free online virus scan utility.
