This picture was taken yesterday. These wild turkeys strolled across the field behind our house and disappeared into the woods. This show how successful a program to reintroduce a species can be. I had never seen a wild turkey until about 15 years ago. There just weren't any around. Now flocks like this are a common sight in the area. |
