Lately, in Corinna...

Here's an interesting Now and Then comparison. This is the apartment house on the Newport Road that used to be the Corinna Grammar School. I attended Junior High School there in the mid-60's. The building was a school until the junior high moved to the CUA building after Nokomis Regional High school was opened in 1968.

This is a post card from Peter Smith's collection. The card is postmarked Corinna, Maine, Aug. 10, 1915 or 16. The outside of the building looked much like this until it was converted into apartments.
