Here, in two pieces, is a close up of Main Street from the aerial shot displayed last week. This photo from the Corinna Historical Society is dated at around 1960.

First, the east end of the street. Much is hidden by the mill. On the left is the restaurant. The Odd Fellow Hall is on the right. Do you remember what stores where in between them?

 

This is the west end of Main Street. The Newport Road goes off to the top. On the left of this picture is the Odd Fellows Hall. On the right is the building that used to house the Corinna Insurance Agency. At that time it was an apartment house. Notice the little bank building beside that house.
