Lately, in Corinna...

Here's another of Stan's aerials showing the cleanup site north of Route 7 in Corinna. The large flat area on the left is the concrete slab remaining from the former mill location. The black mound on the right is the big pile of contaminated soil (BPCS) under a huge black tarp. Next month a soil decontamination plant will begin operation on the slab. With 75,000 cubic yards of soil to clean up, the process will not be complete until next year.
