Lately, in Corinna...

November 23, 2002

This is a photo of David Densmore Stewart. He lived from 1823 to 1917. David was Levi's brother. He built what is now known as the Town Hall in nearby Saint Albans. The pictures below were taken in July of 1998, shortly after the people of Saint Albans beautifully restored the building. The workmanship is outstanding. The building is a credit to the town and the commitment to preserve it's cultural heritage. The stage and auditorium are richly appointed with gold leaf. The ceiling is especially beautiful. Among other uses, the building is home to a local theater group.
