According to the latest Weston Update, they have excavated 10,110 cubic yards of soil from Area 2.5. When that is added to the 6000 cubic yards excavated from Area 3 so far...that's a lot of dirt. The contaminated soil stock pile has become a small mountain. They cover it every day with the biggest blue tarp you have ever seen.

The picture above was taken from Lot 118A on the Stetson Road, looking back toward Main Street. This picture, taken from the road that leads down to the upper dam, shows the back side of the pile. It sits on the concrete slab left when the mill was demolished.
