This picture, and yesterday's, remind me of the post card shots that
used to be so popular in small towns. Roving photographers would take
shots in an area and distribute post cards to local merchants for sale
to the public. We've seen a number of them here thanks to the generosity
of collectors like Peter Smith and others. For instance, here's some of the
park many years ago.
