This trench runs from the railroad right-of-way toward the Newport Road, across the swale between Mill Street and the Gould House. Sometime in the next few days, the Newport Road will be blocked off while the trench is dug across the road. It will carry new sewer and water lines. The existing pipes must be relocated to move them out of Area 2 and to accommodate the new path of Route 7.
