Lately, in Corinna... December 12, 2000

 The
investigation continues downstream. They are looking for contamination in
the soil and ground water. The next phase of the cleanup, down the river,
will be planned based on what they find. The results should be known in
the Spring. This picture, taken a few hundred yards below Area 3, shows a
set of four wells drilled in a line across the old river bed. They have
drilled many other wells in the area of the old Lower Mill
Pond.
