This backhoe is digging into the pile of contaminated soil, pulling out the next load to go into a decontamination bed for treatment. I've heard that the soil treatment facility will soon shut down for the winter. They plan to restart again in the early Spring. With many thousands of tons yet to treat, we can expect this process to continue for at least another year, perhaps longer.
