This picture shows the very first load of contaminated soil excavated from the Eastland site. It was removed mid-afternoon, yesterday. The digging started in the area now know as Building 4, right next to Winchester Park. The soil will be moved to the soil stockpile area to await treatment. The second phase has begun.
