The new river channel is roughed in. This picture was taken from the downstream end looking back toward the new bridge. Eventually the bottom will be lowered and lined with rocks. By late summer there may be water running here. It will be interesting to watch how a new and sterile stream bed matures to become habitat for plants and animals. |
