The black tarp covering the contaminated soil stock pile shines in the sun. This huge piece of plastic covers 18,000 cubic yards of soil excavated last summer. This year even more soil will be removed from contaminated areas on the mill site. All contaminated soil will be moved to a new stock pile area presently under construction further back, near the Upper Dam. |
