A large area has been cleared at the north end of the mill site, near the Upper Dam, for the location of the new contaminated soil stock pile. This plastic ground cover will form the base of the stock pile. The existing pile, now on the mill slab, will be moved to this location along with new soil excavated this summer. The soil decontamination equipment will operate on the slab next year. |
