Here again is the Upper Dam from a different view point. This picture was taken from just behind the old mill site, looking north. This area used to be the mill pond. The removal of the Middle Dam will make this a free running river. When the pond was full the water level reached across from the lines of bushes you can see on each side. What looks like a pile of brush on the right bank is the remains of a beaver lodge built a few years ago when the pond was full.
