This picture of the new bridge was taken looking to the north. Main Street is just to the other side of the railing. The black, shiny monster in the background is the contaminated soil stock pile. Have you noticed that it's growing?

A correction... in yesterday's picture I said the Odd Fellows Hall is on the Exeter Road. It is really on the Stetson Road. (Someone sent an email asking if they moved it again.) When I was very young and living with the rest of the Dow Tribe in my grandfather's apartment house on Main Street, I learned the names of the Exeter Road and the Stetson Road in reverse. I suspect one of my older cousins may have done this to me on purpose. A slightly perverse and twisted sense of humor is prevalent in the family. In any case, it marred me for life. I still make the mistake today.
