Now a free-running stream, this is the former Mill Pond area just below the Corundel Dam. Notice the ducks in the air. They flew off as I approached. The electrical substation is on the left. The mound behind it is a portion of the contaminated soil stock pile. There are about 75,000 cubic yards of excavated contaminated soil stored there. |
