Click this picture to see a larger copy. For comparison with yesterday's picture I want to bring back this one taken in the Fall of 2001, ninety-seven years later. This is a wider angle but it was taken from the same vantage point, the clock tower of the Stewart Library Building. Two buildings appear in both pictures. In the foreground, on the right we see the roof of the former location of the Corinna Insurance Agency. It was the first building on the right, under the trees in yesterday's picture. In the background, to the right of the intersection we can see the Hemingway building, formerly Pearson's Store. |
