Lately, in Corinna... November 8, 2000

 This
aerial photo shows a road and drilling pad built out on to the flood plain
in what used to be the pond above the lower mill. Mill Street runs along
the bottom, just out of the picture. The gray building with red doors at
the top is the potato house.
The EPA is conducting a remedial investigation of the river bed in this area to determine the extent of contamination downstream. The next phase of the cleanup will be based on the findings. |
