Rick Leighton of the EPA tells me that the last batch of contaminated soil is now in one of the bins, cooking. It will be out in a few days. With that, the soil decontamination phase of the cleanup will be over. Plans called for the process to take until next year to complete. They have finished early. Soon the soil decontamination facility will be dismantled. |
