![]() Located on the first landing of the west stairway, this room served as the museum library. Plywood now covers an opening out through the back wall. The light area to the right of the light fixture is a hole out through the roof. |

Here is the most extensive damage, in the upstairs room in the west wing, what used to be the math classroom. The ceiling toward the back of the building has come down, the roof above is badly burned and open to the weather. This room housed the Eastland Woolen Mill artifacts. At this point it is difficult to know how much can be salvaged. The Corinna Historical Society is still formulating their plans for cleanup and restoration. The building is in good shape, considering the circumstances. However, it will be a huge job. They will need help from the community organizing, fund-raising and doing the physical work. The building is a priceless landmark. The collection of artifacts represents our history. It will be a project worthy of our participation. |
