Marvin Lister provided the picture below. It was taken from the east shore of the Mill Pond sometime between 1898 and 1904. The Stewart Library Building, in the background, was completed in 1898. The building on the left is the Ireland Brothers first grist mill. It burned in a fire on July 4, 1904. It would be interesting to know the identity of the two boys in the boat. Possibly someone's great grand fathers.
