Realty Block Fire - 1928
| The Realty Block occupied a large section of the south side of Main Street. It was built sometime before 1912. Originally a three story building, the top floor burned off in a fire in 1928. That floor was never replaced. The remaining 2-story building, commonly know as "the Block" and later called the "Turner Block", housed a number of businesses and apartments until it was completely destroyed by fire in 1975. |
