The City of Bath and Roman Bath
The city of Bath grew up around a natural hot spring that was a sacred site to the Celtic people long before the Romans arrived in Britian. Around 70 CE, the Romans built the elaborate bathing and temple complex. Bath Abbey has been the center of Christianity in the city for over one thousand years. After a walking tour we entered the Roman Bath.
