Here is an interesting old photo. I'm wondering if anyone knows more about it. I believe this is a picture of the Moosehead Mill in Corinna taken during a major flood event. However, it's not the flood of 1940. The mill would have been much larger by then. This is a old picture mounted on that heavy gray cardboard used often for pictures in the late 1800's to early 1900's. Has anyone heard stories of a flood around the turn of the century? |
