Lately, in Corinna...

Students from Corinna, Newport, Hartland, St. Albans, Plymouth, Palmyra, Etna and Dixmont attend Nokomis Regional High school in Newport. The school, on the shore of Nokomis Pond, was opened in 1968. It replaced Corinna Union Academy, Newport High School and Hartland Academy after Corinna and five other towns formed SAD 48.
