After the fire at the
Corinna Union Academy Museum

Sunday, Jeanne Carcieri gave me a tour of the Corinna Union Academy Museum to photograph the aftermath of the July 4th fire. Although the building is a real mess, there is much good news.

This is the middle room, downstairs. Some of the important clothing and the doll collection are here, safe, under the traps placed over the items during the blaze by the firefighters.

This is the downstairs room on the east end of the building. Except for the smell of smoke and some water on the floor, this room is in good shape. Ed Leavitt's barber shop and the other implements are unharmed.
