We call it a river, the East Branch of the Sebasticook River. It would be more accurately labeled a stream, especially these days. This picture was taken just below Area 3. The stream is not disturbed here. The water is clear and free flowing, though not very deep. With a good set of gum rubber packs you could walk across and not get wet.
