 So
often we examples of nature taking control when allowed to. Here is the
East bank of the river where the mill pond used to be, just above the
Middle Dam. The gray building in the distance is the Upper Dam. What
looks like a pile of brush on the right bank is a beaver lodge. In the
past, this area has been under water most of the time. It was muddy,
barren and brown this Spring.
