Phil Young sent in this photograph of the Corinna Methodist Church. It is from an old post card. According to 20th Century Corinna by William Sawtell (1984), the building was constructed in 1853 as the Union Church, so called, because several denominations united to build it. I believe this photo was taken after the building was remodeled in 1900. The interior of the building was again remodeled in 1944. The Church School Annex was added in 1961. |
