Lately, in Corinna...

Corundel Lake is an important wet land and wild life habitat, much larger than we might think without seeing it from the air. This picture shows the middle section of the lake, Corinna village is about a mile to the right. The area at the bottom is marsh and cattail bog, lush and green toward the water. Notice the animal trails that cross the marsh. It is said this is the second largest migratory bird fly-way in Maine, next to Merry Meeting Bay on the coast.
