Lately, in Corinna...

Some of you know exactly where this is...under the Odd Fellows Hall and Main Street. This picture was taken from beside the river at the back of the building. At the top, toward the camera, you see the girders that support the building. Toward the back are the columns that hold up the bridge under Main Street. The bright light is the opening near the middle dam.

The white pipe has not always been there. Just below the white pipe, along the cement wall on the right, there is a ledge about 8 inches wide. Before the pipe was there, you could sidestep along the ledge with your back to the wall, all the way in under the street to a flat, floor-like area. It is around a corner, out of sight to the right. 

As a kid I was forbidden to go in there. But I did. Admit it...some of the rest of you did to.
