Lately, in Corinna...

Here's a location in Corinna that no longer exists. I took this picture last summer just before it was demolished. Some of you certainly recognize it. This is "under the town", the river below the old Main Street bridge. We have mentioned this place before. Many of us could tell stories...but maybe we should not tell too much. As a kid, living on Main Street, I was forbidden to go here. It involved side-stepping along the river on a narrow ledge under the Odd Fellows Hall. That was back around the corner to the left in this picture. As you can see the ledge widened out to an area where you could comfortable stand.
