This is a picture from Peter Smith's collection. It is dated 1940. I didn't make the connection until reading Wayne Brown's Guest Book entry. I am sure this is the Main Street flood he describes. It seems likely the picture of the Middle Dam posted on March 9 was also taken the during the same flood. |
