Meanwhile, way out back at the new contaminated soil containment area, the pile is growing! I took this picture while standing beside the electrical substation not far from the Upper Dam. All of the contaminated soil will soon be moved to this location for the winter. I would say the pile covers almost an acre of land. The object at the top of the pile is the upper part of a dump truck, mostly hidden behind the pile.
