While Maine receives the first significant snowfall of the winter. Ian
Dorman hand feeds a new resident in his neighborhood. This may be the same turkey that was pictured on the front page of a local
newspaper last week. Ian thinks the bird was raised around people and
recently released into the wild. He won't eat crackers, will eat potato
chips, but prefers sunflower seeds. Wild turkeys have been
rare in central Maine until the last few years. More than one flock of the birds
has been seen in the area this year.
